Inspired by our wild nature and old stories, this foulard holds the murmur of the free Vjosa River, the quiet presence of the curly pelican, the scent of mountain tea, and the zana, the mountain fairy from our grandmothers’ tales.
Inside the illustration, Albania unfolds from high alpine peaks down to the sea: rare endemic plants whose names carry our land inside them – albanicum, albanicus, dukadjinica, alongside symbols like Iris illyrica (faith, wisdom, courage). You’ll also find beloved species like Albanian edelweiss (Leontopodium nivale subsp. albanicum), Albanian lily (Lilium albanicum), Albanian tulip (Tulipa albanica), mountain tea (Sideritis syriaca), and more the animals of our mountains, forests, wetlands, and skies.
Created as a collaboration between Kungul and the Trivet sisters, this piece turns science, culture, and memory into wearable art.
By choosing it, you support Kungul’s mission: helping people make healthier, more conscious choices for their bodies and for the planet.

A wonderful piece of art on silk, I couldn’t miss to have in my foulard collection. I took the 2 colors. My daughter loved it too.

I’d been waiting a long time to receive it, I ordered it back in June as a gift for my wife, who is Albanian. She wears it every day. The scarf is exceptional quality and carries so much beauty and meaning. We also love the mission these two Albanian women are standing for, and we’d love to see more initiatives like this.
