A scarf woven with a star

At Kungul, we believe in transparency and informed decisions. Our goal is to help you navigate product ingredients across cosmetics, food, and household goods to ensure a healthier lifestyle.

When we set out to create this scarf together with the three Trivet sisters, we thought about all the untouched beauty of Albania and the stories that connect us to nature and our heritage.
We wanted to craft something that would stand out not just for its elegance and quality, but also for carrying a deep and lasting meaning.

The scarf is made of silk sourced from silkworms raised on mulberry leaves, using the traditional technique of screen printing. In a world where everything moves fast and is digital, we chose this method to preserve the feeling of artisanal work and the care that every fiber deserves. This slow, dedicated process makes each scarf a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece, a treasure to cherish in your wardrobe and pass down through generations.

The design tells a rare story that embodies Albanian nature and culture. Within every thread of this scarf, you’ll discover endemic and endangered plants, illustrated like a journey from the mountain peaks down to the flow of the Vjosa River.
Vjosa, the last wild river in Europe, runs freely and untouched from source to sea, symbolising the strength and resilience of Albania’s natural beauty. This extraordinary river, an ecological treasure and symbol of resistance against human interference, lies at the heart of the scarf’s design, dividing it in two, just like the river divides and unites the flow of life and the harmony of nature.
Woven into its fine lines are also the tales of Mitrush Kuteli, the mountain fairies, and the three golden-horned goats, evoking the magic of Albanian legends. In one corner of the scarf, the Dalmatian pelican, a vulnerable species, stands as a gentle reminder of the importance of protecting our natural world.

This scarf is part of the launch of Kungul Approved, a platform dedicated to offering clean, sustainable products with lasting value. At Kungul, we believe fashion should be sustainable, honest, and in harmony with nature, protecting what ties us back to our roots.
By supporting this scarf, you are not only choosing a beautiful accessory, but you are becoming part of a story that weaves together art, culture, and a commitment to a clean, healthy way of living.

This scarf represents the philosophy of Kungul: thoughtful choices, deep respect for nature, and a mission to promote products that carry honest and lasting values. We believe that everything we use should have a story worth telling and a positive impact on our well-being and the planet.

The Artisan Bloom Foulard

This foulard is a piece of memory, made with love for nature, our roots, and the stories that shaped us. Handmade in Como, Italy from pure silk , it was crafted slowly and with care, because beautiful things take time. The artwork, created with the Trivet sisters , is inspired by Albania’s wild beauty : rare native plants, the untamed Vjosa River, the Dalmatian pelican, and echoes of old Albanian tales. It’s a gentle reminder to pause, reconnect with our origins, and choose with awareness. By wearing it, you support Kungul, a platform helping people understand what they put on their bodies and make healthier choices. This foulard carries a story worth wearing, sharing, and passing on.
